The Need for Sacred Leadership

We are living in a time of choice like no other in the history of humankind. This is uncharted territory requiring that we create a new map to guide us through the chaos.

We must choose between fundamentalism, its use of ignorance and fear, its creation of an “us vs. them” mentality and its apparent march toward annihilation or a sacred path that seeks understanding, compassion and a positive future.

We must resist our natural tendency to revert to our basic instincts of “fight or flight” when confronted with fear, anxiety or the unknown and engage ourselves and others at a higher level – a more sacred level.

This requires a great deal of moral courage and may seem a daunting task, but begin we must. It requires Sacred Leadership at every level of our society, both individually and organizationally, as we focus our attention and efforts on serving the common good.
